About Us

The challenges facing the American West have grown increasingly complex to include climate change, rapid population growth, biodiversity loss, among others. The solutions to these challenges will require new knowledge, collaboration, and professionals with the expertise to implement them. This is why we offer students - undergraduates through PhD level- resources, connections, and applied experiences with practitioners that support research in western landscapes and development of students into impactful scientists, policymakers, conservationists, land managers, business leaders, and more.
